Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms (applies to all purchases)

  • Payment Processing Fees: All payment processing fees assessed by WooPayments, Klarna, Google, or any other third-party payment processor are non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Technology Requirements: Customers are responsible for having access to a reliable internet connection, an up-to-date browser, and functioning audio/video hardware.
  • Intellectual Property: All course and webinar materials are the intellectual property of Business Office Consultants, MedAcademy and/or MedCycle. They may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without written consent.
  • Liability Disclaimer: Business Office Consultants, MedAcademy and/or MedCycle are not responsible for exam outcomes, job placement, career advancement, or personal circumstances that prevent participation.

2. Courses (MedAcademy)

Refund Policy

  • Full Refund Eligibility: Course fees are refundable in full if written cancellation is received at least one (1) week prior to the registration deadline.
  • After the Registration Deadline: For cancellations received after the registration deadline, course fees are non-refundable. In addition, any fees paid to third parties (including but not limited to AAPC) are strictly non-refundable.
  • Less Than Seven (7) Days Prior to Course Start Date: No portion of the course fee shall be refundable for cancellations made within seven (7) days of the course start date.
  • On or After the Course Start Date: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on or after the course start date.

Payment Responsibility

  • Course fees must be paid in full prior to the start date. Klarna may be used as a payment plan option, with students responsible for adhering to Klarna’s terms.
  • All MedAcademy refund policies apply regardless of payment method.
  • MedAcademy will not invoice employers or accept third-party payment arrangements unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to registration.

Student Responsibilities

  • Students must complete the CPC course in its entirety, including all assignments and exercises.
  • Students are expected to manage their own study time and meet all deadlines.

MedAcademy is NOT Responsible For:

  • Students’ failure to complete the course due to personal circumstances or missed deadlines.
  • Technology issues on the student’s end.
  • Outcomes on certification exams, job placement, or career advancement.
  • Replacement costs for lost, stolen, or damaged textbooks or materials.
  • Supplemental materials, optional resources, or exam retake fees not included in tuition.

Course Materials

All-inclusive tuition includes all required CPC course textbooks and materials, provided at the start of the program.

Workshops

  • Workshops are offered at a separate cost and are not included in CPC tuition.
  • Payment for workshops is due at registration and follows the same refund policy as courses unless otherwise stated.
  • Registration is subject to availability. No make-up sessions or refunds will be issued for non-attendance.

3. MedInsights (Webinars by MedCycle)

Refund Policy

  • Recorded/On-Demand Webinars: All sales are final and non-refundable.

Access & Delivery

  • Webinar access links will be sent via email after successful registration and payment.

Technology Disclaimer

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have a functioning internet connection and device. MedCycle is not liable for access issues on the attendee’s end.
